How to Have a Truly Happy New Year

Happy new year! Or is it…?

Even though January 1st is just another day, the start of a new calendar year can bring with it a whole lot of stress.

It can feel as if a huge searchlight is swooping over every aspect of your life –  a searchlight that seems programmed to seek out regrets and so-called failures.

A few years ago I created an exercise to help me move into a new year feeling hopeful, thankful and focused.

Something to help me count my blessings, learn my lessons, figure out who and what I’d like to keep in my life and who and what I’d like to let go of with love.

If you’d like to go into 2018 feeling happier, lighter and focused simply copy the template below into a notebook or onto your computer and complete the sentences, letting your words flow.
